Teaser Storyline for "The Centerfold Girls"
When the body of a shapely girl, her throat cut, is buried on a beach, it is the beginning of a bloodbath of the most beautiful girls in the world.
Clement (Andrew Prine) is determined to kill the voluptuous young women who have posed nude for the centerfold of "Bachelor" Magazine. Armed with a straight-edge razor, possessed of a clinical and warped mind, but clever reflexes, he is given to making anonymous calls to his intended victims. He wants to "Help them" . . . He wants to punish them for what they have done.
After receiving "weirdo" phone calls, Jackie (Jaimie Lyn Bauer) goes to the mountains to take a nursing job. En route, Jackie picks up a hippie drifter, Linda (Janet Woods), and invites her to stay at a cabin owned by Jackie's aunt. They are joined by three freaked-out friends of Linda who attack Jackie during an orgiastic evening. She escapes but when she returns to the cabin, Clement is there

and slits Jackie's throat.
Charly (Jennifer Ashley) is a coed who goes to an island for a photo layout with a party including two other dazzling models, Sandi (Kitty Carl) and Glory (Ruth Ross), a writer, Perry (Ray Danton), an editor, Melissa (Francine York), and photographer, Sam (John Denos). The caretaker (Mike Mazurki) leaves them and returns to the mainland; Clement takes the boat and follows the girls to the island.
In successive encounters with Clement, Sandi, Perry, Melissa and Sam are slain. After the first murders, Sam had left a gun with Charly to protect herself. When a shadowy figure bursts into her room, Charly fires, only to learn that the "intruder" is Glory, a bullet through her heart. Charly runs out looking for Sam but meets Clement, who kills her.
Vera (Tiffany Bolling) is a stewardess who does not attend a swinging party at her marina singles apartment house. The hostess is Patsy (Connie Strickland), who so closely resembles Vera that she is mistakenly but fatally slashed by Clement's razor.
Homicide Sgt. Garrett (Jeremy Slate), assigned to the "Centerfold" case, warns Vera that she was meant to be the next victim. She goes to a motel up the coast, but Clement has followed. After getting one of his ominous phone calls, she checks out and drives toward home, the killer in pursuit . . .
